About Us

The Student Affairs Council (SAC) of IIT Palakkad is a vibrant and representative body committed to enhancing student life and ensuring the overall well-being of the student community. As the collective voice of the students, SAC acts as a crucial bridge between the student body and the institute administration. Comprising elected student secretaries and their respective councils, SAC oversees a diverse range of student-led initiatives, addressing academic, cultural, technical, sports, hostel, research, and post-graduate concerns. The council works actively to represent student interests, address grievances, and promote constructive dialogue with relevant authorities. Through the operation of various sub-departments and clubs, SAC empowers students to lead, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully to campus life.
